Willy De Roovere is a professional engineer from the University of Ghent (1969). He has an extensive hands-on experience in bringing organizations to new heights from an existing stalled situation, taking into account all kind of constraints (financial, HR, market evolutions, etc...).

He has been a General Manager, Board Member or CEO in the private as well as in the public sector. Since 1984 he was involved in fossil fired and nuclear generation, asset & risk  management,  and (nuclear) fuel

Willy De Roovere is a professional engineer from the University of Ghent (1969). He has an extensive hands-on experience in bringing organizations to new heights from an existing stalled situation, taking into account all kind of constraints (financial, HR, market evolutions, etc...).

He has been a General Manager, Board Member or CEO in the private as well as in the public sector. Since 1984 he was involved in fossil fired and nuclear generation, asset & risk  management,  and (nuclear) fuel fabrication facilities. He was recognized for his participative leadership style.

Later on in his career, he joined the public sector as Head of the federal Regulatory Body on Nuclear Safety in  the medical and industrial sectors, including the nuclear generation facilities, under the stewardship of the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Currently he is a self-employed consultant, assisting organizations in their quest for fundamental change and turnarounds.
