About Olivier Bleys
43 years of age, Olivier BLEYS received an education both in literature and new technologies, completed by postgraduate studies in cultural projects management at a political science Institute (Grenoble, France). His professional career was so under the influence both of books and new technologies, writing and screen.
Accomplished writer, Olivier Bleys has published twenty-one books so far : novels, essays, travel diaries, mosty with Gallimard publishers (home publisher of 2012 literature Nobel prize Jean-Marie Le Clézio) who appointed him permanent reader in 2004. His whole works are translated to ten foreign languages, including English, and earned him several awards, inclusive of a prestigious prize of the French Academy.
Olivier Bleys is also qualified in new technologies, and took part in concept design or dialogs writing of many video games. At last, he is lecturer and trainer. Having a passion for cultural exchanges, he founded at the age of 22 the association Young artists of the world in order to promote artistic journeys involving artists from different countries and disciplines.
Resident of the Randell Cottage International Arts Center (New-Zealand) during six months, Olivier Bleys gave several lectures in English, in universities or cultural centers of New-Zealand, Great-Britain and China.
