About Manuel Adamini

Still retaining a lot of hope, Manuel takes you to the many technological solutions within reach. He depicts these solutions as the biggest investment opportunity in human history. And he shows how you can be part of them – as an organization, employee, politician, citizen.
As an internationally recognised expert in climate finance, Manuel combines deep insight into climate-related (investment) risks and opportunities with a good overview of global and European politics. He is a frequent and versatile speaker and moderator at large conferences and smaller roundtable sessions, and has contributed to numerous international and Dutch publications.
Having an economics and investment management background, Manuel is a German citizen living in the Netherlands since 20 years. He has fluent command of the Dutch, German and English languages, and a conversational proficiency in French.
Manuel works as senior responsible investment strategist at the asset management unit of an international bank. Before that, we worked at a London-based not-for-profit organisation, recognised as a global climate finance thought leader. Earlier in his career, he oversaw a Dutch asset manager’s responsible investment activities. He also served as an (alternate) member on the prestigious Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative’s (EITI) International Board, working against corruption in the oil, gas & mining sectors. Manuel started his career with bank-assurance company Fortis, where he initiated a global climate strategy.
