Luis Ribó was born in Barcelona. He graduated in Business Administration and Management, specialised in Marketing and Consumers, at Universitat de Barcelona. He defines himself as a passionate about Social Innovation, Branding Innovation and Communication.

Luis Ribó was born in Barcelona. He graduated in Business Administration and Management, specialised in Marketing and Consumers, at Universitat de Barcelona. He defines himself as a passionate about Social Innovation, Branding Innovation and Communication.

In 1998 he started his career as a professional in the advertisment environment, working at Tiempo BBDO. During his stay he started as the “responsible” to serve the coffees during the meetings and became Strategy and Communication Director.

Those were 12 years of experience and along them he had the chance to know deeply different sectors, developing brand and communication strategies for clients such as Bayer, Gas Natural, la Caixa, Sara Lee, Henkel, Bimbo, Sony, Hines…

In 2010 and moved by the desire to adjust his professional life with his own values, he turned around his professional career and went into the field of innovation and social consultancy. The start point was the perspective to have the chance of generate social impact and improvement using innovation into commercial, business and brand strategies. He put all his hope, knowledge and talent to this project.

Luis Ribó started this journey in AlterCompany, a referent consultancy firm in social area.  He started as the responsible in Goodbrands department (a Goodbrant are brands that add, integrate and assimilate a cause or a social/environmental commitment with the aim of generate value for itself and for the society where the company is involved with) and became Strategy Director, developing different projects in RSC, susteinability, found raising… In that period he worked for companies like Unilever, Caprabo, Danone or Nestlé, with foundations such as Fundación Antena 3, Fundación Affinity or Fundación Rafa Nadal. He also worked with non profit organisations like Pallapupas, Casa Teva or Nutrició Sin Fronteras.

In 2012 he decided to create, with his 2 partners, his own social consultancy firm “The Social Movers”. With the belief that all the agents are able to generate social positive changes, Social Movers wants to accompany its clients in their social challenges developing strategies, ideas and actions based on social innovation, collaborative vision and the creation of Shared Values.

Luis Ribó’s mantras are two: “We can not solve a problem thinking the same way that when we created it” said by Albert Einstein and “Today is the tomorrow you were waiting yesterday”.
