He creates new Business Models. Is involved in a variety of companies in business areas like high-tech (industry), FMCG, automotives, business and financial services, hospitality and  entertainment. Follows closely actual trends where he gains his inspiration and ideas. He is convinced that everything stands or falls with the power of innovation and involvement. He generates an inexhaustible source of ideas, concepts and models that ‘work’. Not ‘copyable’ but ‘doable’. He inspires entrepreneurs, leaders, managers, and their followers. He has the passion not just to 'move' but, above all, to direct and focus his audience. With his 'floating logic’ he shows what lays ahead by building on what is left behind. He acts as a keynote speaker, Master class lecturer, business ‘blower’, provocateur and mental ‘enforcer’. As an artistically gifted child he wanted to become an advertising cartoonist. His father didn’t agree at that time! His second passion was starting his own business. That came later after a solid basis in ‘people’ and ‘business’ science. He began his career as a researcher at TNO and was 'discovered' by the Boston Consulting Group. He first operated as a M&A consultant for customers in food, luxury goods, oil and gas, industry, energy and later as region manager in areas as insurances, automotives, paper industry and aviation. He earned a lectureship M&A at the ASU. He returned to the Netherlands and in 1990 he made his dream come true and started his own company. The company grew by applying trailblazing concepts supporting leaders and entrepreneurs in gaining confidence that the ‘unknown’ is in their reach to achieve ‘doable’ success. No hazy idealistic drivel on change but practical and down to earth ideas and models for everyone. He wrote a number of books around this theme. In 1996 he was awarded with the honourable title of ‘ Visionary Compagnuit’, a frivolous combination of the Dutch words ‘Compagnon’ and ‘Schavuit’, meaning ‘Buddy’ and ‘Rascal’. In 2000 he sold his share in the company. From that moment on he writes books and travels to international conferences with his keynotes. He became a well-known speaker on conferences, symposia and corporate events. Over 25 years in the top league of business counselling he started an investment fund for innovative companies focused on expanding to India. With a partner he founded Pro Balance Capital to support entrepreneurs in seeking ‘high impact’ funding for their innovations and expansion. He supports, promotes and links ‘Corporate Ambitions’ to ‘Capital’. His style is naughty, creative, interactive, perhaps provocative, sprinkled with humour, anecdotes, incidents and accidents, his own successes and failures and his best practices. For people with self-mockery who take their business seriously and love challenges.
