AMM Tjeu Blommaert was Born in Susteren-Netherlands on March 7, 1955. He currently lives in Maastricht-Netherlands. At the University of Maastricht he graduated in 1994 with a dissertation called “Additional Disclosure: Momentum and Triple-entry Accounting”.

He takes more than thirty years of experience in the middle and small business, multinational corporations, education for business people, economists, lawyers, controllers, consultants and executive experience as a CFO and CEO position at a publicly traded company and as commissioner / supervisor within various companies and institutions.

His personal persuasion is that for sustainable success two inextricably linked components are key: professionalism and passion (the 2 P's). It is like the mirror of 'being right, and getting right’. It is also the embodiment of what Steven Covey now names “The 8th Habit of Highly Effective People”. This is about catching behavior, to induce other people to act on behalf of the business. It is inspiring, coaching, leadership level 5. Reports and analysis are one thing. Then get these insights done through other people is another.

Together with his brother Prof. J.M.J. Jos Blommaert he wrote numerous books and articles on business administration, management accounting & control and financial accounting, business statistics and commercial science.

The books of 'Blommaert & Blommaert' are very well known in the Netherlands. In the past decades many hundreds of thousands of these B&B books have been sold.

Tjeu Blommaert works as a personal coach for business executives. As an executive consultant he worked and still works for many national and international companies. He publishes regularly in various media including the Dutch Financial Times (FD) and Elsevier, and he is frequently chairman or a guest speaker at conferences and seminars in the Netherlands and abroad.
