Dr. Tanguy Jacopin is the Managing Director of Global Born Ltd. and is Associate Research Fellow at IESE Business School in Spain. He earnt his Doctorate at the Sorbonne University in Applied Economics, did his post-doctorate, and some MBA classes, at Columbia University. He received two Masters Degrees in economics and international management. He was also visiting scholar at Cambridge University, UK; the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil; the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Instituto de Empresa, Spain.
He teaches as well with Fundación CIFF (joint venture between University of Alcala and Santander bank), University of Carlos III and University Pompeu Fabra, Spain. His interests lie in CEOs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Cross Cultural Management and sectors of interest include banking, automotive, utility and sport sectors. He has written and contributed to several books, articles and business cases in these areas and has a wide experience in assessing companies such as Santander, BBVA, Iberdrola, Repsol, Telefónica, the America´s Cup and the FC Barcelona.
He recently published CEOs as Leaders and Strategy Designers: how to explain the success of Spanish Banks at Palgrave Mc Millan in 2007 and he will publish Value Creation and Sport management in 2008. Dr. Jacopin delivers presentations in French (Native), English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese (proficient).
