Janet Poot

Janet Poot is in her element when supporting business leaders on their journey to increased personal and corporate success. Her expertise lies in the international business arena that is characterised by a multitude of different cultures, interests, hurdles, opportunities and ever-changing dynamics.  

Janet has an excellent track record in giving management and leadership courses to senior management teams, company owners and government officials in multiple countries. She does not speak simply to entertain or to recite the theory of achieving synergy. More important than that, her approach is practical, experience-based, interactive and inspiring.

Janet is from South Africa where she enjoyed an English-speaking upbringing. She completed her studies in The Netherlands and in the process mastered the Dutch language. Her professional interests took her to different countries and after some years in employment of large American corporations, she herself became an entrepreneur. She established her marketing company, Excelda International BV, 15 years ago and after studying a challenging new approach to leadership in the States and different parts of Europe, she established herself as an international business coach and consultant in 1997. Soon thereafter, she established JPCoaching International BV. Janet’s assignments have taken her to various countries and she has had the pleasure of working with diverse commercial corporations, ministries and even with NGOs in developing countries.

Mergers & acquisitions, expansion into new countries, further penetration of existing smarkets and meeting the changing set of demands that are made of leaders today, all call for a review of ones skills, vision, performance, knowledge of other cultures and what it takes to be more influential as an individual and as a team.
