Biography of Rob Creemers
Penetrating, original and contemporary (multimedia) vision of the future
Rob Creemers is active in the IT sector since 1980. He was manager production control and IT at Siemens in South Africa in the eighties. Back in Holland he worked as a software support manager at Olivetti, before he founded his own company, Techno Trends. A trendwatcher and market analyst he monitors all new developments on ICT, energy, the ageing society and globalisation.
At international seminars and conferences Rob Creemers presents his views in a very penetrating, original and contemporary (multimedia) way. He discusses the consequences to our present society, where nobody is to escape these extremely fast developments.
Rob Creemers gives lectures about these developments. One of his topics is: 'The network makes distances disappear and borders fade away' (ICT makes the world smaller every day. Don't be surprised that people in China want to copy our lifestyle. Carbon dioxide emissions grow, oil will become scarce. Rob Creemers and Adjiedj Bakas have co-authored the book 'Living without oil' ).
His lectures are very interesting for representatives of the corporate, government and service sectors and others who are interested in the 'Network society'.
