5.) What is the deadline for booking a speaker?
There is no deadline for booking a speaker. Would you like to book a speaker tomorrow, or even today? Speakers Academy® can help you. We have so many prominent speakers in our catalogue, that there is an answer to every request.
6.) Is it possible to meet a speaker or attend a performance before booking?
In most cases it will not be possible to attend a performance of one of our speakers before booking, as most meetings are closed to the general public.
Depending on the speaker, it might be possible to conduct a brief telephone conference to discuss the content of a performance. Also, speakers might be prepared to conduct a non-committal face-to-face conference in exceptional situations. At your request we will look into the possibilities.
We will charge a small amount to compensate the speaker for his or her time. Should you decide afterwards to hire the speaker, we will regard the non-committal meeting as a regular working meeting and substract this amount from the total fee.
7.) How much does a speaker cost?
We will provide you with a price indication based on the essential preconditions (location, timespan, theme, etc.) of an event. Our regular speaker's rates vary between € 2.000,- and € 7.500,- On our website the speaker's fee is listed under each speaker's biography for easy reference. Please note it is just an indication! Rates are subject to fluctuation, because of many variables.
€ 750 – 1.999
€€ 2.000 – 3.499
€€€ 3.500 – 4.999
€€€€ 5.000 – 7.499
€€€€€ 7.500 – 12.499
€€€€€€ 12.500 – 50.000
Important: there is distinction between speakers who are giving a lecture (approx. 30 to 60 minutes), or those who work a morning, afternoon and/or evening. The actual fees depend on a number of variables, such as the number of guests, the duration of the lecture, customised facilities, preparation time, possible meetings, travel expenses and accommodation costs.
8.) How does the invoicing work?
Speakers Academy® will send you an invoice on time. On this invoice you will find the total agreed price, excluding VAT.
Most of the time expenses that our speakers or employees make are not included. We will inform you about the estimated costs beforehand. Afterwards these costs will be passed on to you.
9.) How do I confirm my booking?
To confirm a speaker, please call your consultant. He or she will go through all the details with you and send you an agreement we would like you to sign.
Alternatively, you can fill out the confirmation form on this website. It will take you a few minutes to fill out the form, providing us with all the information we need to confirm your booking. You will receive a written confirmation for personal use.
After signing the contracts we could plan work meetings (if needed). This also applies to sending photos to be used on time tables and invitations.
10.) How do I inform the speaker or chairperson what issues/topics I would like him or her to address at
After an agreement has been reached between you and Speakers Academy®, we will contact you by telephone to schedule a work meeting. The speakers like to have such a meeting (face-to-face or by telephone) close to the actual event, typically between 1 month and 1 week before.
11.) What is meant by a 'fee'?
The fee refers to the investment in a speaker, chairperson or discussion leader. In most cases, the fee does not include travel expenses, additional facilities (for example micophones) and 19 % VAT.
